Applying from Saudi Arabia or the Gulf
Planning to study at UQ from Saudi Arabia or the Gulf? We help relate your qualification, results and course interests to the relevant entry route. Where you live does not, by itself, establish academic eligibility.
What we’ll help you check
- The right course. We’ll relate your previous studies to the course’s academic requirements, prerequisites and available intake.
- English and documents. We’ll help clarify the accepted evidence and course-specific documents. English-medium study does not automatically mean an exemption.
- A complete study plan. We can work through duration, teaching location, fees and any additional selection requirements with you before you accept an offer.
Research applicants also need to check supervision, proposal and faculty requirements for the specific degree.
CAMPUS & EVERYDAY LIFE
Your campus and everyday life.
St Lucia is in Brisbane; Gatton has facilities for animal, plant and veterinary sciences, while Herston focuses on health. Your program’s teaching location matters when planning accommodation and daily travel.
FEES & FUNDING
Understanding your study budget.
International tuition fees
Tuition depends on the course, intake and study load. We can help distinguish annual figures from the full qualification cost and check the current payment requirements.
Allow for accommodation, everyday living costs, travel, health cover and any additional course costs.
We can work through the current offer and fee schedule together. Any application-fee waiver must be confirmed for your application.
Funding to discuss
We can check current international scholarships or tuition discounts against your course, results and intake. Funding is not guaranteed and should only enter your budget once confirmed.
Availability, selection and ongoing conditions apply. We can help you check the current terms for your intake before you make financial plans.
Ask about scholarshipsYOUR QUESTIONS
Before you take the next step.
Will my UQ course be taught at St Lucia?
Not necessarily. UQ’s locations serve different fields, including agriculture and veterinary study at Gatton. We will check the program’s actual teaching location rather than assuming every course is in central Brisbane.
Can Masiratna help me apply to UQ?
Yes. We can discuss your background, help you prepare the relevant application and follow up with the institution. Your counsellor can explain the course requirements and the next steps.
Do I need an English test?
The accepted evidence and required result depend on the provider, qualification and sometimes the profession. We can check whether your existing evidence is acceptable or whether another test or preparation route is needed.
What should I have ready for our first conversation?
Your qualification name, recent results, course interests and preferred intake are a useful start. If you are still deciding, we can help build a shortlist before explaining the documents needed for an application.
