For parents
Your child is studying in Australia?
We’re with you from the first step.
Studying abroad is a family decision. Here you will find what we do, what you pay and to whom, and how we stay with your child until they settle in Australia.
With your child
What we do for you.
We explain every step to you and to your child, and stay with them until they arrive and settle.
We listen to you both
Grades, goals and your budget, then we suggest suitable universities and courses.
We apply and follow up
We prepare the application, submit it to the university with your child’s consent, and follow up until the offer arrives.
We guide the visa
We help prepare the student visa (subclass 500) documents and explain each step. Decisions and fees rest with the Australian authorities.
We are there after arrival
Our Melbourne team helps with the first weeks and any question that comes up, and guides students to the best available accommodation options.
Costs
What you pay, and to whom.
We do not charge you for advice or applications. These are the main costs of studying, each paid to the organisation concerned.
Tuition fees
Paid directly to the university or institute, and they vary by course.
Visa charge
Paid to the Australian Government when applying for the student visa.
Student health cover
The student visa requires Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the length of the course.
Housing and living costs
These vary by city and type of housing. We guide students to the best available accommodation options and help you estimate the costs before departure.
Common questions
Questions parents ask.
If you have another question, talk to us and we will answer.
How do we reach you?

Our child is under 18. What is required?
Australia requires suitable welfare arrangements for students under 18 for the whole of their stay. We explain the options and their conditions before you apply.
Who pays the fees, and how?
Tuition is paid directly to the university against its invoices, and government fees to the Australian Government. For sponsored students, the university invoices the sponsor.
Can you keep in touch with our child after arrival?
Yes. Our Melbourne team is close to students, helps with the first weeks and any questions, and guides each student to the accommodation options that suit them best.
